Maa Baglamukhi, also known as Devi Bagalamukhi, is a goddess in Hindu mythology who is believed to have the power to protect her devotees from negative energies and evil forces. She is also known as Pitambara Devi, as she is often depicted wearing yellow clothes. The word Baglamukhi is derived from two Sanskrit words: “bagala” which means bridle or reins, and “mukhi” which means face or mouth. Maa Baglamukhi is thus known as the goddess who controls and subdues negative forces. She is often depicted with a golden complexion, wearing yellow clothes and adorned with a garland of flowers. She is also shown holding a club and pulling the tongue of a demon with one hand, while raising the other in a gesture of protection. Maa Baglamukhi is worshipped by devotees who seek protection from negative forces, enemies, and bad luck. She is believed to have the power to paralyze or neutralize the negative energies of her enemies and protect her devotees from harm. The worship of Maa Baglamukhi involves the chanting of mantras and performing rituals with yellow flowers and clothes. The Baglamukhi temple in Himachal Pradesh, India is one of the most famous temples dedicated to her worship.
