Two goats across the bridge is a story from Panchatantra that teaches a moral. Once there were two goats who decide to cross the bridge across the river. They both meet in the middle of the bridge but no one wants to give way to the other. They end up locking their horns and start fighting . Eventually they fall off the bridge and get drowned in the river .
On the other hand , two other goats who also decide to cross the bridge. They realize that instead of fighting it is better to find a way to cross the bridge. One goat squats and the other crosses over the first goat and thus they are able to cross the bridge.
Moral of the story is in times of crises , one should analyze the situation peacefully and tactfully and then act upon it.
