Makkhi ka Lalach is a Panchatantra story of a makkhi(fly). Using the example of flies (Makkhi) who do not give up their greed for honey, this story teaches a valuable lesson . The makkhi(fly) sees some honey dropped on the floor and decides to eat it. She is not able to get over her greed for honey due to which she get stuck and ultimately dies.
Moral of the story: One should not be greedy else it will have adverse consequences.
